True colours people will eventually show

The second time, you take more care,
No errors to happen, no details to spare
The chances of success are so much high
The doubts are laid to rest with a sigh

The second time, maybe someone more hot! ;)
The first half wasn’t great, lets admit it!
Time for a better second half and living it
In this life, love deserves a second chance
We all learn from mistakes and thus enhance
Don’t disrespect the second chance given to you

Giving it another chance where you take more care and no errors to happen and no details to spare: it doesn't happen because then you put too much pressure on yourself and the other person. And your past continues to play havoc with your present because darling you are trying to make the relationship as different from your past one as possible: and that means you aren't over the past!!!
