A dream... unconquerable and surreal

While I waited for my wounds to heal,

Flying again was not my dream

The horizon was distant and far unseen

And I tried and tried to recover

But time took time to forget all over

With you the journey did begin

And that dream became the destination

Of our journey of discovery and hesitation

But I was selfish to not see into your eyes

The dreams and aspirations in disguise

And hurt was not supposed to be there

I’ll handle my second chance with utmost care

Your dreams will be mine soon and for sure

Together we can win the world and so much more

They wont be separate ‘your’ dreams and ‘mine’

That horizon will be ‘ours’ to shine!

Two's company, Three is....

As my journey in SIMSR continues... These last few days are full of nostalgia.. And the first day.. the first friends.. the first memories.. the first classes.. all keep coming back. This one is dedicated to the first people i interacted with... My roomies..

The first time i entered my room, I was genuinely surprised.. It ended where it barely begun!! And 3 people living there!! Phew!! My bed was full of the mystery roomies' stuff.. And I was like.. Is this the kind of mess I'll live with...

Thankfully they were as amazing and as crazy as I was in a lot of things.. :) Food habits were similar (read: we absolutely detested mess food!) Our conversations were crazy.. We got 2 pseudo roomates.. so we were basically 5 living in a room..!! The habits were not annoying.. We always had good company, music, lights on at any time of the day or night, food and lots of crazy things happening..(Cant disclose a lot of details due to a lot of reasons!) (Like this night in the Jungle!)

But what I realised was that if two is company, three is definitely not crowd... infact its cool!! :) There's always company to take the 3rd person's case.. even if 1 person is not there, you arent alone.. you have someone to talk to most times.. 1 out of 3 will turn out to be able to kill/get rid of cockroaches too!! You'll have a moderator to settle the arguments and atleast one of the other two will wake you up in time for classes!! 1 of you will know how to pick the lock!! Atleast one will know all the right places to go to. Chances are that you wont have to worry too much about notes just before the exam, atleast 1 will have all notes!! And atleast 1/3 will have some knowledge about the subject to just help with the last minute revision!! Its so much more fun with 3!!

The 2 years spent here were some of the best times spent.. And Thank you Mankan & Dogan for the nice memories.. Turtlan and Daayan.. for being a part of both 305 & 604!! Love you all!!
